MU

Into the quarterfinals after 120 minutes howling

It took up to 120 minutes for MU to beat West Ham to win tickets to the FA Cup quarter-finals.

With the host’s attitude, it is not surprising that MU is the one who actively played to attack right from the opening whistle. On the other side of the front line, to fend off the home team’s speed ball, West Ham chose a solid game and was not afraid of collisions, which made Solskjaer’s teachers and students face many difficulties.

The speed of the game in the first 45 minutes was relatively fast, although there were not too many dangerous opportunities created by players on both sides. The most notable situation in the first half came from the midfielder’s header Maguire, but the ball only looked to the vertical. 0-0 was the result of the first half.

Entering the second half, MU continued to play first, but like in the first half, they did not have much creativity while West Ham still defended firmly.

Even when Bruno Fernandes was introduced into the field, MU still could not find his way into Fabianski’s goal. The draw was extended for 90 minutes to officially force the match into extra time.

In extra time, the change of coach Solskjaer has finally worked. MU made good use of the opportunity to counterattack, the ball was released for McTominay before this player launched a one-touch shot against Fabianski, opening the score.
