ROG Phone II was launched by ASUS at the end of July with powerful specifications and 120Hz OLED screen. Today, the Taiwanese manufacturer has introduced a new special version of this phone with the full name is ROG Phone II Ultimate Edition.
Although the hardware configuration remains the same as the standard version, the ROG Phone II Ultimate Edition has a matte black back, UTB 3.0 1TB internal memory and has a faster 4G network chip, LTE support. Cat 20 with download speeds of up to 2Gbps.
ROG Phone II Ultimate Edition is still equipped with a 6.59-inch OLED screen with Full HD + resolution (2340 x 1080 pixels), 19.5: 9 aspect ratio, and 120Hz refresh rate. Inside, the device owns the hardware power comes from Snapdragon 855+ processor, combined with Adreno 640 GPU and 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM.
The back of the ROG Phone II houses the 48MP + 13MP dual-camera system (125-degree wide angle), while the front-facing selfie camera has a 24MP resolution. The battery comes with a 6000mAh capacity device, supports 30W fast charging. It comes preloaded with Android 9 Pie operating system, has a 3.5mm headphone jack, 2 USB-C ports and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
As expected, ROG Phone II standard version will start selling at the end of September for 900 euros (about 23 million). Meanwhile, ROG Phone II Ultimate Edition will be available from October, priced at 1200 Euro (about 31 million VND). However, this is only the price in Europe and it is not clear the specific price of this handset in other markets.
