Guide to editing photos with GIMP

Step 1: Open your project
Open the GIMP software on the device. Click File (File), select Open (Open).
Friend find the link to the folder containing the image you need to edit. Choose an image , then click the button Open below.
Step 2: Crop your image
You click on tools Rectangle Select Tool (The rectangular area selection tool) or click shortcut R . Hold and drag the mouse to select the area of the image you want to crop.
Right-click the image, and in the drop-down menu, select the item Image (Image) then select Next Crop to Selection (Cut selected area).
Note: If you want to keep the dimensions of the image, you can skip this step.
Step 3: Change the brightness
Left click the item Color (Color) on the toolbar at the top of the screen. Here you choose Brightness – Contrast (Brightness – Contrast)

Step 4. Export the image file
After you have edited an image like that, click on the item File (File) on the toolbar and select Export As (Export as) or press a combination of keyboard shortcuts Shift + Ctrl + E .
Choose a folder To save the edited image, then tap Export .
Note : If you choose Save (Save) or Save As (Save as) the system will automatically save the image as GIMP’s dedicated file format.
