Huawei is expected to release the Mate 20 X version 5G smartphone this Friday. According to Trustedreview, Huawei has issued an invitation to launch its first 5G smartphone. The tech giant is expected to reveal Huawei Mate 20 X 5G in the Chinese market on July 26.
Smartphone Mate 20 X was originally expected to be Huawei's flagship phone running on 5G network. The product will have many similarities with the 4G version, but will have a larger design while using smaller batteries, to match the 5G modem.
The company also plans to disclose the first 5G network to penetrate some of China's major cities during the launch on Friday (July 26).
GSMArena estimates that Huawei Mate 20 X 5G will be sold for 6,999 CNY (more than 1,000 USD). The promotional image revealed that the phone will have Huawei's Emerald Green with the 5G logo appearing on the back.

Mate 20 X 5G has a 7.2-inch OLED display. The smartphone is equipped with three rear cameras of 40 megapixels + 8 megapixels + 20 megapixels and a 24 megapixel front camera. Kirin 980 Chipset equipped inside the phone. The Android 9 Pie operating system is based on the EMUI 9.1 running on the device. The device may have options such as 6 GB RAM + 128 GB capacity, 8 GB + 256 GB RAM and 12 GB + 512 GB RAM.
