At IFA 2019 in Berlin, Germany, Huawei introduced its new True Wireless headset, called FreeBuds 3. This model possesses the same design as the AirPods but is cheaper.
According to Andro4all, the third edition of Huawei FreeBuds comes with a chip patented by Chinese company, Kirin A1. This will allow them to provide high quality sound, thanks to digital audio processing. In addition, the A1 chip also has a high-sensitivity controller.
Huawei says the latency on FreeBuds 3 reaches 190ms, giving users a better experience when playing games, watching videos or listening to music. The highlight of this headset also comes from active noise cancellation. This feature is not too many companies equip True Wireless headset models. Accordingly, FreeBuds 3 can reduce the ambient noise of about 15 dB for each headset and users can activate or cancel by pressing the button on the left earphone.
Huawei FreeBuds 3 also comes with a circular design with two white and black options. The battery of the headset can play music continuously for 4 hours, meanwhile, the charging box provides power so this model can work for an additional 20 hours. Users also have the ability to recharge the headset with a cable to reduce shorter charging times.
At the moment, the Chinese company has not shared the price information and release date of Huawei FreeBuds 3, but said this model will be cheaper than AirPods. FreeBuds 3 headphones will be sold in Europe and some other countries in October.
