Huawei today officially launched a new mid-range phone of the company, called Nova 8i. This phone is currently available in the Malaysian market at an affordable price, only RM 1,299 (about VND 7.2 million) for the 8GB + 128GB configuration.
Starting from the front, Huawei Nova 8i has a design that looks quite similar to the Mate 30 Pro phone with extremely thin bezel This phone screen will use a 6.67-inch LCD panel, supporting Full-resolution resolution. HD+ with DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, as well as improved blue light filtering.
And yet, this phone also impresses with an extremely high 94.7% screen-to-body ratio, helping to bring an almost full-screen experience to users. The pill-shaped cutout in the upper left corner of the screen is also where the 16-megapixel selfie camera is located.

Inside, the smartphone is now powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 662 chip, comes with 8GB of RAM and users will have 128GB of internal memory to store data. Nova 8i also owns a 4,300 mAh battery that supports Huawei SuperCharge 66W fast charging technology, capable of fully charging the battery from 0 to 100% in just 38 minutes.
In terms of software, the Huawei Nova 8i ships with EMUI 11 (based on Android 10). However, this smartphone may be upgraded to Huawei’s proprietary HarmonyOS in the near future. Its color options include Moonlight Silver, Interstellar Blue, and Starry Blue.
