With the slogan Rethink Possibilities, Huawei has officially introduced the new Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro with a lot of new technology from design to screen and especially camera cluster.
The looks of the Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro are exactly the same as what we've seen from recent leaked and rendered images. The back is still a curved glass design facing forward and also has the option of glossy or matte anti-fingerprint glass like the Mate 20 series. The remarkable thing on the back is still the camera cluster placed in a circle – this is also is the identity of Mate 30 compared to other Huawei product lines.
There will be 6 color options including Black, Space Silver, Cosmic Purple, Emerald Green with matte glass and especially 2 options of Vegan Leather Edition Orange and Forest Green. The color options are available on both the Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro. The Mate 30 Pro is IP68 waterproof and the Mate 30 is IP53.
Horizon Display: 88-degree curved OLED screen
Speaking of the screen, the Mate 30 Pro has a 6.53 "OLED screen with a side-edge design that hugs down at an 88-degree angle and Huawei calls this the Horizon Display technology. This speaker technology is called as Ascoutic Display Huawei, the defect on the Mate 30 Pro is 32.8 mm wide but it has many sensors such as proximity sensor, light sensor, 3D depth sensor, Selfie camera and especially a gesture sensor that allows controlling the device by waving. The 3D facial recognition feature on the Mate 30 Pro is able to detect in many angles. It also features AI Auto-Rotate that tracks eyes to see what position you're viewing. Kirin 990: Strong improvement in NPU

Similarly, power savings are improved by 23% CPU, 32% GPU and 290% NPU, Huawei is proud to talk about the 5G Balong integrated modem on Kirin 990 because it supports up to 8 bands, many more than 5 bands compared to the 5G modem of Samsung Galaxy Note10 + 5G from which the Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro can work with all carriers around the globe.
