As you know, Face ID is a great alternative to Touch ID, and Apple itself has acknowledged that the iPhone X’s biosecurity feature is more secure. However, many people will be questioning how to set up this new security feature. In this article, the Network Administrator will guide you to set up Face ID on iPhone X.
Sign up for Face ID
To get started, open the application Settings on iPhone X and select Face ID & Passcode. From here, click select Enroll Face, then click Get Started to activate the front camera and infrared sensor. The screen will display a circle around to link to your face. This will help the camera and sensor detect and analyze your face.

At this point, you will be instructed to move your face in a circular motion to the camera and sensor. As you move your face, the gray lines around the circle will turn green to indicate that it has received facial features.
When the iPhone successfully captures your face, it will ask you to set up a backup passcode if you haven’t already, so follow the instructions given.
Once done, you can unlock iPhone X just by looking at the screen. First, you need to activate the screen by pressing the power button on the side. Then just look straight at the device. The lock icon will open to show you have successfully unlocked the iPhone X.
