Sometimes, when you log in to your user account, the following error message is displayed: You have been logged in with a temporary profile. This error message is displayed when the user’s profile was accidentally deleted from the system.

To correct this temporary profile error, log in to the PC administrator account – you may need to enter the password for that user, save the profile data for the missing user (if it is still available), and then delete it. Data is obtained on the way % SystemDrive% Users {username}, which must be entered or followed in the File Explorer.

Use the shortcut Windows + R to open Run. type it regedit and press Enter. In the System Registry, go to

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindows NTCurrentVersionProfileList

. In that location, delete the user profile that ends with the BAK extension. Close the Registry Editor and restart Windows.
