The audience will have to spend up to 1.9 million pounds for the most advanced service package to perfectly enjoy the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
FIFA has opened global service packages for the FIFA World Cup 2022. Accordingly, to enjoy all 10 matches at Lusail Stadium, where the final is held, the audience will have to spend up to 1.9 million pounds for the most premium service package.
With a less lavish option for two people at Lusail Stadium, fans will also have to spend nearly £ 110,000 to watch the full 10 matches in this venue.
According to FIFA, despite the sky-high prices and the difficult financial situation caused by the global pandemic, service packs still have “unprecedented levels of interest”. Specifically, less than 24 hours after the official sale, the pre-booked service packages helped FIFA collect $ 90 million. It is predicted that hotel and tourism services revenue associated with World Cup 2022 tickets could reach $ 450 million, despite the current volatility in the global travel market.
On Twitter, journalist David Harding confirmed some service packs were sold out just a day after the global launch:
“The eagerness for the Qatar World Cup 2022 is confirmed today. The “Amazing Package” selection, which includes 10-match tickets and private suites, ‘five-course menu’, ‘sommelier selection’ and the best parking spots – sold out. “
FIFA package offers include match tickets along with on-site services at the stadiums, such as catering, premium beverages, concessional parking, entertainment and gifts. There are also additional assistive services, including accommodation and air transport.
Tickets to a group stage match at the Pearl Lounge area will start at $ 4,950 per fan.
