Huawei's sub-brand Honor is said to be planning a launch event in China tomorrow (November 26), where the company will officially announce the highly anticipated duo Honor V30 and V30 Pro. wait.
Prior to its launch, the Chinese company has suddenly released a new teaser video about the Honor V30 series, which revealed very interesting information related to the camera of the smartphone duo.
According to Gizmochina, the video teaser revealed that the Honor V30 will come with a RYYB filter matrix for the camera sensor, similar to the flagship Mate 30 Pro. This feature allows the camera sensor to capture more light, providing impressive low-light performance.
According to previous leaks, Honor V30 and V30 Pro will be equipped with 6.57-inch IPS LCD screens and use the tablet-style "punch" design to accommodate the dual selfie camera cluster. And thanks to this design, the screen of Honor V30 series will occupy 91.46% of the front area.
In terms of performance, both devices will be powered by Huawei's Kirin 990 5G chipset, providing support for dual mode (independent) and NSA (non-standalone) 5G connectivity. Reportedly, this is Honor's first smartphone duo to support 5G.
According to the report, Honor V30 may have variants like 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM and 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM. On the other hand, the "Pro" variant can come to China with variants like 8GB + 128GB ROM and 8GB + 256GB ROM RAM.
In terms of photography capabilities, both of these phones are expected to have three rear cameras. While the V30 can own the Sony IMX600 40MP main sensor + 8MP telephoto lens + 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor that supports OIS, the V30 Pro can replace the 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with a 12MP camera for video recording.
Unfortunately, the price of Honor V30 and Honor V30 Pro has not been disclosed.
