Honda CR-V juniors leaked terrible parameters, equipment that caused a headache for Mitsubishi Xpander and Toyota Innova

(Techz.vn) The junior model of Honda CR-V, although not officially launched, has caused Mitsubishi Xpander and Toyota Innova to worry because of its terrible specifications.

In May 2021, the Japanese automaker unveiled the all-new Honda N7X concept. In the Indonesian market, a new three-row SUV model was introduced to replace the rival of Mitsubishi Xpander and Toyota Innova, the Honda BR-V. The commercial version of this model is expected to launch in August this year.

Before the official launch, detailed information about the variant and engine of the new 7-seat Honda N7X model has been leaked on the internet. According to leaked information, this product line will span over four levels: S, E, Prestige and Prestige HS. In terms of engines, the N7X will likely be equipped with a 1.5L petrol engine with 6-speed manual and CVT automatic transmission options.

While the entry-level version will only be offered with a manual transmission, higher trims will come with an optional automatic transmission. The car can also be offered with a 1.0L turbocharged petrol engine, 3 cylinders, producing a maximum capacity of 121 horsepower and maximum torque of 175 Nm. It is rumored that the hybrid powertrain will be introduced at a later stage.

The most advanced Honda N7X Prestige HS variant will be equipped with Honda Sensing (HS) technology, which is an advanced driver assistance system developed by the Japanese automaker (ADAS).

In terms of design and styling, the juniors of the Honda CR-V will probably keep the prototype from the concept. At the front, the concept features a multi-slat grille with multiple chrome spokes, slim surround headlights with dual LED DRLs, a scalloped bonnet and aggressive details with faux skid plates and aluminum inserts.

Bold design sides, round wheel arches with black cladding and a large glass door adorn the side of the Honda N7X. At the rear, the Honda N7X concept has LED taillights similar to those on the Honda City sedan.
