The EWC factory team officially supported by YART YAMAHA-YAMAHA achieved the fastest lap in the free practice of Liman 24 resistance on Thursday morning, ahead of Yoshimura SERT Motul and Tati Team Beringer Racing.
With Karel Hanika’s lap time of 1 minute and 36.014 seconds, this Austrian factory team achieved its first success this season (although it was only free practice), but even so, YART YAMAHA passed the second place. Yoshimura SERT Motul showed their ambitions faster than half a second.
Tati Team Beringer Racing not only performed well in yesterday’s private test, this private team from France is also in today’s free practice, leading the three factory teams: FCC TSR Honda France, Webike SRC Kawasaki France Trickstar and BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team.
Fans thought that the BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team could perform better after completing the impressive winter test, but they slowed down because of a minor crash this morning.
Among the top 10 in the free practice phase, there are three private teams, namely Moto Ain, VRD Igol Experiences and LRP Poland. ERC Endurance-Ducati continues to work on optimizing the settings. Their Panigale V4R is ranked 10th today.
