The Wójcik Racing team showed their talents on the Leman Circuit in mid-July. The Polish team has two cars participating in the Formula EWC and Superstock levels and is currently among the best in the standings. Their goal is to shine again in the 24 Heures Motos.
The Wójcik Racing team-or the team, attracted a lot of attention during their third FIM EWC season. This Polish team managed by Adam Stepien fought on two fronts. Yamaha 77 participates in EWC level competitions, Yamaha 777 participates in Superstock level competitions. Car number 77 is ranked third in the provisional standings, while car number 777 is fourth in the FIM Endurance World Cup ranking.
No wonder the Wójcik Racing team is fully prepared for 24 Heures Motos. During a two-day private Leman test in mid-July, the entire team was on the track. The only thing missing is the Australian driver Broc Parkes, the new EWC employee of the ambitious Wójcik Racing. Parkes will drive the No. 77 car with Gino Rea and Axel Maurin. At the same time, Rea and Maurin were there where they were able to test and adjust the YAMAHA R1 2020-style car, and soon found their rhythm in Liman.
Team boss Grzegorz Wójcik said: “In general, the Wójcik Racing team’s return to the track is positive. Our drivers are very excited. We have recorded a lot of miles to learn about the new electronic devices such as Ohlins suspension and Dunlop tires. We. Found a good basic setup and good fuel management. Our drivers are all on the rhythm, so we are eager to return to Leman at the end of August.”
