In the Sepang 8-hour endurance race that ended successfully a few days ago, 12 Asian teams successfully won the entry ticket for the 2019-2020 FIM Endurance World Championship-Suzuka 8-hour Endurance Race. After the end of Suzuka 8 resistance in July (2019) last year, according to the new competition rules formulated by Mobilityland and Eurosport Events, 17 teams have been identified that can participate in the 2019-2020 season.

There will be a total of 60 places for the 43rd Suzuka 8 Resistance to be held on July 19 this year (2020). Of these, 12 teams will stand out from Sepang 8 Resistance. The first of these 12 teams is Honda Asia Dream Racing with Showa, followed by Yamaha Sepang Racing directly supported by Yamaha, BMW Sepang Racing, Team PlusOne, Tone RT Syncedge 4413 BMW, Team Kodama, KRP Sanyokougyou & will raise RS-Itoh, Team Hanshin Riding School, T.MotoKids Twelve teams including icu Takada IW NAC Sanyo, TransMapRacing with Ace Café, Yamasina Kawasaki Ken Racing & Auto Race Ube, and Team Sugai Racing Japan have successfully qualified for Suzuka 8 resistance.

As early as last year (2019) after the end of Suzuka 8 resistance, 6 teams have been determined to participate in the 2019-2020 season of Suzuka 8 resistance. In addition to the championship Kawasaki Racing Team Suzuka 8H, there are Tone RT Syncedge 4413 BMW, Honda Dream RT Sakurai, Team Frontier, Zaif NCXX Racing & Zenkoukai and Honda Suzuka Racing Team.

Of the 60 teams that can participate in the Suzuka 8 resistance, 20 positions will be reserved for participants who fully participate in the full season of 2019-2020; after deducting the above-mentioned duplicate team quotas, FIM EWC will be held in April and May of this year respectively. Selection trials are held at the Suzuka Circuit to determine the list of 60 teams that will eventually be able to participate in the 43rd Suzuka 8D.
