Before the information of F1 Vietnam race was delayed due to the complicated situation of the Covid-19 epidemic, many customers who bought tickets could not help but be bewildered because they did not know where the fate of the purchased tickets would drift. To reassure customers, recently Vietnam Grand Prix Co., Ltd. (VGPC) – the organizer of the race Formula 1 VinFast Vietnam Grand Prix 2020 has officially announced this issue.
Specifically, VGPC once again emphasized that this race was postponed, not canceled entirely, the company and the City People’s Committee. Hanoi is still trying to negotiate with F1 and the International Automobile Federation (FIA) and other stakeholders to come up with a new schedule in 2020. Along with that, VGPC also made a policy of tickets to attend F1. 2020 in Vietnam as follows:
For all Customers who have purchased tickets
Customer’s tickets are fully reserved and all benefits. The validity period of the ticket will be automatically updated according to the latest racing schedule, which is expected to be published within the next 1-2 months based on a new schedule arranged by F1 and approved by FIA.
For tickets that have been issued and delivered to customers during the past time
VGPC will transfer to the new ticket customer without any additional cost to the address as registered user, based on the new racing schedule after being officially announced. Tickets that have been delivered to previous customers will no longer be used from the time of postponement of the race (March 13, 2020). E-ticket, as usual, will be issued and will take effect 2 to 3 weeks before the new race schedule.
In addition, in case the customer chooses not to continue to accompany the Formula 1 VinFast Vietnam Grand Prix race in 2020, VGPC will conduct refund and cancellation procedures.
