Do you know how tall the “god” is?

We all know that the vast sky is vast and the destination that people always try to conquer. But how many people can answer the question exactly what the sky is and how high is it?

By definition, the sky or the sky is everything above the surface of the Earth, including the atmosphere and outer space.

The sky includes the atmosphere and outer space

Earth’s atmosphere is a layer of gas surrounding our planet and is retained by Earth’s gravity. The atmosphere is divided into 5 layers, each floor has different characteristics and properties.

Troposphere: is the closest layer of atmosphere to the ground. This floor is about 16-18 km thick and the higher it gets, the lower the temperature. All weather phenomena take place every day, sticking with us like rain, wind, storms and snow are happening in the troposphere.

The stratosphere or still atmosphere: is the floor from about 18-50km and has few strong eddy currents. At this level, the temperature increases with altitude, the temperature at the top of the stratosphere can be up to -3 degrees Celsius. The reason is because this layer contains the ozone layer that absorbs the sun’s ultraviolet radiation.

The middle floor: 50-85km from the ground. This is the coldest of the five atmosphere layers, the temperature gradually decreases with altitude due to the heat from the UV absorption from the sun of the ozone layer disappears and the cooling effect of CO2. Temperatures in the upper part of the middle layer can drop to -90 degrees Celsius.

The atmosphere (also known as the ionosphere): from 85-640km from the ground. The temperature in this floor increases gradually with altitude. The temperature will be about 3000-4000 degrees Celsius when at an altitude of 400km.

Outer floor: is the last layer of the Earth’s atmosphere before reaching outer space.

Outer space is divided into characteristic regions called star clusters.

During the day, we often see the sky is blue because the air scatters more blue light than red. At night, the sky is in darkness, we only see the light from the stars and the Moon.
