The wind god Hayabusa returns to the 2022 version to succeed the once famous “Wind God” family. Suzuki’s new supercar is different from the second generation it replaces.

Suzuki claims the 2022 Hayabusa is faster when it can accelerate from 0-100 km / h in just 3.2 seconds, 0.2 seconds faster than the previous version. Although the maximum capacity of the car is only 188 horsepower at 9700 rpm, the maximum speed of the new Hayabusa is still 299 km / h.
The engine hasn’t changed, but most of the interior parts have been reworked
Although the exterior of the engine has not been changed, most of the internal parts have been revised. New timer reduces valve overlap. The exhaust valve lifter is also higher up with the new valve springs. The new pistons are also larger with forged piston heads with PVD-coated rings.
The size of the throttle body is increased to 44 mm, the new exhaust is designed in a 4-2-1-2 configuration, including a new connecting pipe between the cylinders and lighter than before. Along with that exhaust system also has a two-stage catalyst converter. Hayabusa now also has a dual-fuel injection design that both saves gas and increases the power achieved for the car.
Hayabusa 2022 is equipped with a lot of driving aids
As a new “God of wind”, 2022 Hayabusa is equipped with a lot of equipment to assist drive. On this motorcycle, there are 3 power modes: Active, Basic, Comfort. Vehicle has traction system (10 levels), anti-roll head (10 levels), engine brake (3 levels), start control (3 levels), speed limit, and quick shift ( 2 levels).
In addition, the 2022 Hayabusa also has RPM Assist (Low RPM) that prevents the vehicle from slowing down, along with equipment such as cruise control, and Hill Climb Control.
Brakes are of the Brembo type with 320 mm rims for extremely sensitive front. Comes with it is a high-end ABS system, with corner features. The chassis has not changed, but the new subframe is designed to be lighter.
The 2022 Hayabusa’s suspension system features KYB-type updated suspension in the front and rear. This suspension system is fully customizable. The handlebar is now positioned closer to the driving position and has a rubber fix to prevent vibration.
This Hayabusa has a new control system that combines analog and digital technology. Headlights, signal lights and turn signals are all LED bulbs with strong brightness and long life. The selling price of this rookie is also more expensive with the list price of 18,599 USD (432.53 million VND).
