Huawei has introduced three smartphones including Nova 5, Nova 5 Pro, Nova 5i and a tablet called MediaPad M6.
It seems that the embargo does not affect the plan to launch Huawei products too much. The company has just launched a new mid-range product range, possibly models that are "molded" before Google stops licensing Android updates and contracts to use the ARM architecture that is still valid.
Nova 5 is equipped with new chips from Huawei, Kirin 810, 8 cores, 6 GB RAM and 128 GB internal memory. It is likely that this may be the last chip designed by ARM, after the chip designer cut off relations with Huawei last month.
Nova 5 Pro has a more robust configuration, it uses the Kirin 980 chip like on the P30 Pro or Mate 20. This model has 8 GB RAM and 256 GB internal memory.
These two models have a 6.4-inch OLED screen, the system has 4 rear cameras including 48 MP, 16 MP and 2 2 MP cameras.
The duo owns a 3,500 mAh battery, charging via USB-C port, has a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a fingerprint sensor in the screen.
Nova 5i has a lower configuration, it has a perforated screen design. This model is equipped with an old Kirin 710 chip, there are 4 rear cameras including 24 MP, 8 MP and 2 2 MP cameras. The device still has a 6.4 inch screen size but uses an LCD panel instead of OLED.
Besides three smartphones, Huawei also introduced the MediaPad M6 tablet with two 8.4-inch versions (battery equipped with a capacity of 6,100 mAh) and 10.8 inches (with a battery of over 7,500 mAh).
Both versions are equipped with 8 MP front camera, 13 MP rear camera, Kirin 980 chip, 4 GB RAM, optional 64 GB internal memory or 128 GB. This model runs on Android 9.1 platform, customized according to the EMUI 9.1 interface.
10.8-inch MediaPad M6 is priced from 335 USD, while the 8.4-inch version is priced 290 USD. The device will hit shelves in China on July 10.
Meanwhile, all three of Huawei's smartphones will be available later this month at a price 407 USD For Nova 5, Nova 5 Pro from 436 USD and Nova 5i words 320 USD. Huawei has not disclosed the shelf dates of these products in the international market.
