Recently, there have been many users from other browsers, including Chrome to switch to Chromium Microsoft Edge to change the wind and experience the new version which features it?
However, this does not mean that users will stop loving the Google Chrome browser. In contrast, everything is getting better with Google's pet browser.
Latest statistics NetMarketShare pointed out, Chrome's market share has skyrocketed significantly in May and the gap between the browser and Firefox has increased every month.
Specifically, Google Chrome browser has increased its market share from 65.54% in April to 67.9%. This is also the highest level of a browser achieved in 2019.
On the other hand, all other major browsers lost market share in May.
For example, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome's number one rival, has reduced its market share from 10.23% to only 9.46%. While Internet Explorer 11 also decreased from 7.49% to 6.71%.
Another browser, Microsoft Edge, also reduced market share but not much, from 5.53% to 5.36%. This shows that many users after upgrading to Windows 10 changed their default browser from Microsoft Edge to Chrome or another browser. Note that this is the original browser version and not the version using Chromium kernel.
Comparison of market shares of browsers in April and May 2019:
Microsoft has not yet released an ETA version for the new Microsoft Edge browser, but the browser build beta is expected to be released this summer on Windows 10.
