fnatic announced they had officially bid farewell to Richard “Xizt” Landström.
The Swedish tactician left fnatic after four months on the bench, with recent reports suggesting he will dock at Dignitas to reunite with his three former NiP teammates.
Xizt returned to fnatic in May 2018 after playing for the organization from 2010 to 2012. He led the team to victory at PGL Grand Slam and runner-up at StarSeries i-League Season 7, IEM Sydney 2019. Xizt upon leaving off the official roster in August with Simon “twist” Eliasson as the team was unable to qualify for the StarLadder Major with a poor performance.

Fnatic finished the year at the top with Maikil “Golden” Selim and Robin “Flusha” Rönnquist when the two returned to the squad. Fnatic climbed to the top 5 of the world rankings after winning DreamHack Masters Malmö, runner-up StarSeries i-League Season 8 and ESL Pro League Season 10 Finals.
After not being invited to join BLAST Premier, the Swedish team will return to play at IEM Katowice – the tournament takes place from February 25 to March 1. The current situation of Golden is currently unknown, as he re-entered fnatic. as loan from Cloud9.
