At the 2019 Computex event taking place in Taiwan (China), Asus officially announced the ZenBook Pro Duo and ZenBook Duo. This set of laptops marks the 30-year development of Asus and is called "the laptop of the future" by the company.

Extra large ScreenPad Plus screen is placed right on the keyboard

The most special feature of the ZenBook Pro Duo and ZenBook Duo comes from the sub-screen, touch support is located right on the keyboard called ScreenPad Plus. This design of the ZenBook Pro Duo may make some people think of the MacBook Pro's Touch Bar, but in fact, ScreenPad Plus has a lot of differences compared to the Touch Bar.

ScreenPad Plus is much bigger than Touch Bar. On the ZenBook Pro Duo, the ScreenPad Plus is 14 inches in 4K resolution, while the ZenBook Duo is 12.6 inches in Full HD resolution.

ZenBook Pro Duo is the first laptop model of Asus to use 15.6 inch screen OLED technology, for absolute contrast, support HDR and DCI-P3 color range. This screen also supports touch.

Up to now, Asus has not announced the price of ZenBook Pro Duo and ZenBook Pro. However, the company said these laptops will be available from Q3 2019.
