According to military site Military Today, the PHL-03 artillery system produced by the Northern Defense Industry Corporation of China (NORINCO) is a design copy of the Russian BM-30 Smerch multiple rocket launcher. PHL-03 has 12 300mm caliber launchers with each missile weighing about 800kg. It has a range of up to 130km, and can be deployed from marching to combat in three minutes.
