In December last year, China Southern Airlines and its subsidiaries ’passenger capacity (by available seat kilometers) increased by 6.48% year-on-year, and passenger turnover (by revenue passenger kilometers) increased by 6.97% year-on-year.
During the reporting period, China Southern Airlines and its subsidiaries ’domestic passenger capacity increased by 5.09% year-on-year, domestic passenger turnover increased by 6.83% year-on-year; international passenger capacity increased by 10.8% year-on-year, and international passenger turnover increased by 8.86% year-on-year; The year-on-year decrease was 23.43%, and the regional passenger turnover decreased by 32.65% year-on-year.
In December 2019, the passenger load factor of China Southern Airlines and its subsidiaries was 81.41%, a year-on-year increase of 0.38 percentage points, of which domestically increased by 1.33 percentage points year-on-year, and regional and international respectively decreased by 9.17 and 1.46 percentage points year-on-year. , China Southern Airlines added Daxing-Chengdu-Beijing Daxing routes, Guangzhou-Kunming-Islamabad-Kunming-Guangzhou routes.
In December 2019, China Southern Airlines and its subsidiaries introduced five aircraft (including one A350-900, three A320NEO, and one A321NEO); and leased back two aircraft (including one EMB190 and one A319). As of the end of December 2019, China Southern Airlines and its subsidiaries had operated a total of 862 aircraft.
