Google has officially confirmed that a new Pixel phone will arrive this Monday, August 3. The California-based company also mistakenly disclosed a photo of a phone last month that matches all of the recent leaks.

Thus, according to the technical sheet provided which confirms certain technical characteristics that appeared in a benchmark, the Pixel 4a will rely on the chipset Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G, 6GB RAM, 128GB internal storage, and it will be equipped with a 3 140 mAh with a fast charge of 18 W. The 4a will have a 5.81 inch OLED display in 19.5: 9 format which will include the Always On Display and Now Playing functions. In addition to the headphone jack, the phone should have stereo speakers, which is not common in this price range.

Agarwal has also provided additional information on availability and pricing, with the Pixel 4a due to go on sale at 349 dollars in the United States. It will also be available in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Australia, Japan and Canada.

A Pixel 4a 5G this fall

The Google Pixel 4a 5G is expected to be launched in conjunction with the Pixel 5. If the information reported by the leaker is correct, it will only cost US $ 499.

Both devices would be equipped with the chipset Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G, which incorporates a modem 5G. We can expect at least 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage internal for the standard version. It could be that the Pixel 4a 5G has two cameras on the back, compared to just one on the Pixel 4a. They would both be inherited from the current Pixel 4.
