On April 19, 2009, Porsche launched the first generation Panamera at the 94th floor of the World Finance Center tower in Shanghai, China. Upgrade facelift 2013.
In 2013, Porsche introduced an upgrade between the Panamera life cycle with some modifications to its looks and technological features. The S E-Hybrid, a plug-in electric hybrid hybrid version, uses a 316 horsepower V6 petrol engine combined with a 94 hp electric motor for a total capacity of 410 horsepower. The Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid is equipped with a dual-turbocharged V8 4.0 petrol engine and an electric motor to produce a total output of 670 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque – superior to supercars like Lamborghini Huracan or Ferrari 488 GTB.

Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid requires only 3.4 seconds to accelerate from 0-100 km / h and has a top speed of 310 km / h. For a comparison of acceleration, the high-performance 911 GT3 RS supercar is only 0.1 seconds more than the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid when it hits 100 km / h. The second generation Panamera was introduced by Porsche in June 2016 with innovative designs, interiors and rich engine options. Compared to the first generation, the 2nd generation Panamera has an overall length of 34 mm (5,049 mm), 6 mm (1,937 mm) wider and 5 mm higher (1,423 mm). The wheelbase also increased by 30 mm, reaching 2,950 mm.
The interior compartment of the 2nd generation Panamera is refreshed by the touch control system, eliminating the hard buttons.
