Since its release date, the Oppo Find series of phones have always sought the latest technological innovations, and the Oppo Find N foldable phone series is one of them. Find N brings another direction to the two most controversial issues of folding screen phones, that is size and screen hinge.
Oppo Find Women is a phone with a compact design, which can be likened to a small tablet with the ability to fold into a mini phone. The device is developed around a 7.1-inch LTPO AMOLED folding screen manufactured by Samsung, with support for 120Hz refresh rate. Oppo’s proprietary hinge design – called Flexion – offers a seamless look when the device is folded in half, and a flat screen that’s spotless when extended.
The screen on the outside uses AMOLED panels, has a diagonal of 5.49 inches, wrapped in a rather thin bezel. This monitor only supports a basic refresh rate of 60Hz. Both the outer and inner screens are cut with a small hole to make room for the selfie camera.
When it comes to cameras, Find N is equipped with a total of 3 highly configurable lenses on the back, providing extremely flexible shooting capabilities. The main camera of the device uses a 50MP sensor, which supports optical stabilization and autofocus; accompanied by a 13MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom and a 16MP ultra-wide-angle camera lens. All three lenses are housed on a porcelain plate with an extremely delicate appearance.
Inside the sleek glass shell is the Snapdragon 888 5G chip. In addition, the device is also equipped with a lot of RAM and internal memory. Find N’s processor chip gives the device the latest generation of connectivity standards, as well as the ability to receive 2 SIMs.
The design of foldable phones is still far from perfect, with some limitations still remaining. In particular, due to the possession of movable hinge mechanisms, fully waterproofing these devices is a problem. However, with Oppo Find N, the manufacturer has drawn and learned from previous models, giving us a folding machine with a high level of perfection.

Oppo Find N: Design
With Find N, Oppo has successfully solved two problems that front-folding phones have, that is, the size and wrinkles at the place where the device is folded. The version of Find N that we used in the review has the main color tone is milky white. The two sides of the device are protected by a layer of tempered glass Gorilla Glass Victus, while the rear camera cluster is made of high-quality ceramic material.
The folding screen of the device is made of ultra-thin glass, protected by a layer of plastic film, wrapped around by a black plastic frame.
The outer frame and hinge system of the machine are made of aluminum material, with a glossy finish to bring a look that is in sync with the back. When it comes to the bezel, the phone doesn’t have any gaps between the two halves of the screen when folded – something that even Samsung has not been able to do with all three versions of the Galaxy Fold.
Find N uses a proprietary screen hinge system developed by Oppo, which the company named Flexion. This pair of hinges has a teardrop-shaped design on the inside, which helps the screen move further towards the hinge, providing just enough rotation for the device to fold completely.
This new hinge design also eliminates the wrinkles in the middle that exist on other folding screen phones. This is a big advantage for Find N when compared to other folding screen models on the market. However, similar to other folding screen models on the market, Oppo Find N does not have an official water resistance standard.
On the front of the device is equipped with a 5.49-inch AMOLED screen, wrapped in a thin bezel. The screen is protected by a layer of Gorilla Glass Victus.
This OLED panel is punched with a small hole in the middle position near the top edge to make room for the 32MP selfie camera. But if you are someone who takes a lot of selfies, then you can use the 3-lens camera cluster on the back. When Find N is fully open, you can use the external screen to view pictures when taking selfies with the rear camera cluster of the device.
The large screen inside is the highlight in the design of Oppo Find N. This is a LTPO AMOLED folding panel manufactured by Samsung, measuring 7.1 inches, supporting HDR10+ and having a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The screen is almost square with an 8.4:9 aspect ratio. The screen also has a small hole in the left corner, where the 32MP selfie camera is located.
The folding screen is covered by the thinnest glass on the market, with a thickness of only 0.03 inches, allowing users to fold the device easily. Lying on top of this glass is a protective plastic film.
Oppo Find N: Screen
Oppo Find N is equipped with a total of 2 screens. The screen on the outside has a size of 5.49 inches, using AMOLED panels, while the inner screen has a size of 7.1 inches, using LTPO AMOLED panels.
Both panels are HDR10+ supported and have a theoretical maximum brightness of up to 1000 nits. Unlike the external screen (which only has a 60Hz refresh rate), the Find N’s inner screen supports a high refresh rate of 120Hz, making all animations displayed seamlessly and smoothly.
According to the manufacturer, both screens of the machine are capable of displaying colors with equal accuracy. Both are supported to display colors in the DCI-P3 range with high accuracy.
Oppo Find N: Battery life
Oppo Find N is equipped with a battery with a capacity of 4500 mAh. The device supports fast charging technology with a capacity of 33W and is included with this charger when buying the device.
In our test, the device achieved a result of 90 hours in the endurance test, 15 hours higher than the result achieved by the Galaxy Fold 3. Find N achieved good battery life results under different test conditions.
Oppo Find N: Performance
Oppo Find N is another high-end phone on the market that uses the Snapdragon 888 chip manufactured by Qualcomm. The chip is manufactured on the 5nm process, made up of 8 cores, including 1 Kryo 680 Prime (2.84GHz), 3 Kryo 680 Gold (2.42GHz) and 4 Kryo 680 Silver (1.8GHz) cores. The chip is integrated with Adreno 660 GPU.
Oppo Find N is released with 1 of 2 versions of LPDDR5 RAM of 8 or 12GB, corresponding to 256 or 512GB of internal memory, respectively.
At the time of writing, the Snapdragon 888 is still one of the most powerful in the Android phone market. Using Geekbench 5 to score overall performance, the machine achieved single and multi-core performance scores of 985 and 3478, respectively.
In actual use, Find N offers a smooth user experience, making the most of the potential that the 120Hz screen brings.
Oppo Find N: Camera
Oppo Find N is equipped with a 3-lens camera cluster on the back. Users can also use this camera cluster to take selfies through the screen on the outside. In addition, the device is also equipped with 2 selfie cameras with the same configuration as in the inner screen and the outer screen.
Oppo Find N main camera uses Sony IMX766 sensor, 50MP resolution. The sensor has a physical size of 1/1.56 inch and has a pixel size of 1.0µm. The camera uses a 24mm lens with an aperture of f/1.6 and supports autofocus.
The selfie camera of the camera adopts a 16MP Sony IMX481 sensor. The sensor has a physical size of 1/3.06 inch, 1.0µm pixel size, and is placed behind a lens with an aperture of f/2.2.
The last camera of the lens cluster is a telephoto type, using a 13MP Samsung S5K3M5 sensor. The sensor has a physical size of 1/3.4 inch and has a pixel size of 1.0µm.
The main camera of the device saves the default image at 12.5MP resolution thanks to pixel binning technology. The pictures that we took in daylight with this camera are of high quality. Pictures have good detail and sharpness, while colors are displayed vividly and brilliantly.
Oppo Find N is a folding screen phone in the high-end segment. It delivers a level of speed performance along with two screens with impressive picture quality. Possessing a compact design and a new generation hinge system, Find N has overcome the limitations that the folding screen models on the market have.
