BOE's new screen is the world's first 20: 1 OLED screen. The screen has a resolution of up to 4K and can bring extremely high clarity even though the width is quite small. Content displayed on the screen can be easily viewed from a distance.
Accordingly, the screen is 1209x63mm in size, comes with a narrow border design and unlike any traditional screen. The screen's border is only 6.4 × 6.4 × 5.7 × 7.3mm thick.
BOE said the application of the screen type at a ratio of 20: 1 is to install in supermarket shelves, business areas or public advertising. This screen can also be used in the transport field when displaying indicators for pedestrians. Or in movie theaters, screens can serve as a guide for everyone. However, many people quipped that this will be the screen for the iPhone 20 model.
Especially according to the manufacturer, the screen can work in outdoor conditions and withstand almost any kind of extreme weather. Above all, this OLED screen is also quite energy efficient.
BOE Display is one of the leading names in the current display industry, especially with LCD screens. Currently BOE is also proceeding to penetrate the OLED display market but due to the new toddler involved, BOE is still far behind Samsung and LG in terms of output. Chinese screen maker is focusing on expanding OLED display factories with the ambition to compete fairly with Korean competitors.
