On June 10, OnePlus officially announced the Nord CE 5G in an online event. The launch video is also very unique, like a movie episode about the character Nord CE 5G. The device name stands for “Core Edition”, indicating that OnePlus wants to retain all key functions from the OnePlus Nord 5G. At the same time offer 1 cheaper price.
The device will have a 6.43-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels. Nord CE 5G’s screen also has a 90 Hz refresh rate. The front has a punch-hole selfie camera, and the bezels are also made quite thin.
On the back, the device is equipped with a 3-camera cluster including: 64 MP main camera, an 8 MP wide-angle camera and a 2 MP depth camera. With this parameter, Nord CE 5G can record 4K videos at 30 fps, on the front is a 16 MP selfie camera.
Powering the OnePlus Nord CE 5G is the Snapdragon 750G 5G processor, which comes with three memory options: 6 GB RAM + 128 GB ROM, 8 GB RAM + 128 GB ROM and 12 GB RAM + 256 ROM. The device also supports the OxygenOS 11 interface based on Android 11 right out of the box.
Powering the Nord CE 5G is a 4,500 mAh battery, with 30 W fast charging that can charge 70% in just 30 minutes. Currently the device is sold for 299 Euro (about 8.35 million VND) for the 8 GB RAM + 128 GB ROM version and 369 Euro (about 10.31 million VND) for the 12 GB RAM + 256 GB ROM model.
