In the snow-covered stadium, Bayern Munich could not beat Arminia Bielefeld in the Bundesliga round 21.
After winning the FIFA Club World Cup, Bayern Munich returned to the Bundesliga to host rival Arminia Bielefeld in round 21. The weather did not support the two teams when heavy snow fell on the Allianz Arena, affecting visibility as well as the ability to coordinate players from both sides.
A surprise soon appeared when Vlap opened the score for the visitors in the 9th minute, then in the 30th minute, the gap was doubled for Arminia with Amos Pieper’s header. The difficult first half with Bayern closed 0-2.
Entering the second half, the snow was no longer covering the field and Bayern quickly answered. Lewandowski scored in the 48th minute, but the gap was quickly restored just 1 minute after Gebauer’s strike.
The rest of the time, Bayern put all their strength to attack and get paid. Tolisso scored a second for Bayern in the 57th minute, before Alphonso Davies set a 3-3 draw in the 70th minute. Not winning 3 points, but Gray still led the Bundesliga with 5 points more than the second place team.
