The Reddit Dota 2 community is flooded with articles asking Valve about when to launch Battle Pass for The International this year.
Although The International 2020 has been postponed, according to a blog post from April 30, 2020, Valve confirmed the Battle Pass will be released even though we don’t have an exact time for TI10. With the announcement falling in late April and the time of the Battle Pass launch in the recent three years in the first half of May, the Dota community expects this year’s Battle Pass to follow the same schedule.
But Valve clarified that work was delayed because everyone had to work from home, and the company predicted the Battle Pass would be at least a few weeks late compared to the start time.
No official information was released until May 21, when a Valve developer member responded to a Reddit post titled: つ ◕◕ ༽ つ Summon the Battlepass ༼ つ ◕◕ ༽ つ
According to this comment, the TI10 Battle Pass will launch “early next week”. This announcement is real and it was shared by Wykrhm Reddy on Twitter.
