Asus launched a laptop made of gold and leather to celebrate 30 years

This laptop is called the Asus ZenBook Edition 30, uses white material to wrap the outside with an Asus 18 karat gold rose logo designed to look quite similar to the Star Trek badges. Asus does not use leather to wrap the whole device like HP's Folio hybrid laptop / tablet line, because they want this new ZenBook to be a traditional laptop.

"Each piece of genuine leather is hand-selected", Asus Chairman Jonney Shih explained."Each piece of the garment is sewn meticulously by a master of sewing"In addition, Asus also provides special accessories for this laptop, including a pearl white mouse and an outer protective cover made of leather.
