Information about card line Challenger produced by ASRock for the Rx 5700 is revealed.
If you're a "squirrel" (why?) Heatsink lover, the good news is that all Radeon RX 5700 XT and RX 5700 models on the market today use them. For others, Navi card versions with radiators produced by other manufacturers are also on their way to the shelves. Among them are Challenger, ASRock's overclocked Navi card templates.
AMD has said before that its hardware partners will start releasing RX 5700 XT and RX 5700 models around mid-August. Hopefully it will be time for us to see those Challenger. However, at the present time, it is unclear when the information flow Challenger ASRock's new will appear, but it can't rule out the possibility that ASRock will follow Asus's footsteps, release card models in September or even later.
Here is how the specifications for the new card line are:
- RX 5700 XT Challenger—1650MHz base, 1905MHz boost, 1795MHz game clocks
- The RX 5700 XT ("squirrel cage" version) – 1605MHz base, 1905MHz boost, 1755MHz game clocks
- RX 5700 Challenger—1515MHz base, 1725MHz boost, 1675MHz game clocks
- The RX 5700 ("squirrel cage" version) – 1465MHz base, 1725MHz boost, 1625MHz game clocks
In both models, ASRock raises the base clock and game clock, leaving the boost clock on.
Samples Challenger will include two fans and a metal cladding behind.
Next to the line Challenger by ASRock, MSI also revealed the MECH card line for its Mavi.
