AQUA Vietnam has inaugurated a new factory specializing in producing front-loading washing machines to supply products for the Vietnamese market as well as for export. The brand of Haier Group is aiming to become a strong consumer electronics brand, with the goal of reaching the leading position in Vietnam market.
AQUA's new factory is located in Bien Hoa 2 Industrial Zone, Dong Nai in the land area that already has an existing washing machine factory since 1996, formerly owned by Sanyo. The factory has a total area of about 80,000 m2 equipped with many modern machinery lines, automating up to 80% to bring high capacity, reducing the rate of defective products, improving the quality of output products. AQUA aims to direct customers to use front-loading washing machines with more advantages than traditional products. Therefore, investing in a new, more modern factory is necessary.
AQUA Vietnam factory owns modern technologies including:
- Fully automatic pressing line for casing with 6 robots involved in the entire production process. The automatic mold design is capable of flexible production design to create many components of the washing machine at the same time.
- Fully automatic riveting line with German TOX technology, making non-rivet connection, manufacturing on straight line.
- Laser welding inside the tube with IPG technology for stable performance, to meet the cylinder production in the most optimal.
- The injection molding machine uses a two-plate clamping structure, the forceps clamp helps to realize the change of one-button mode, using robots to retrieve and release parts, maximizing production efficiency.
- Internal and external assembly line: controlling the whole line and 3-speed transmission line is used on high to improve work efficiency, reduce labor capacity.
Also at the launch ceremony, AQUA Vietnam introduced the washing machine line AQD-DD1200C. This is the flagship product line of the company with 525mm size washing cage extending clothes storage space with 12 kg laundry volume, saving 12% of the area thanks to the optimal design.
The distance between the cage and plastic container is narrowed, Smart Dosing self-leveling technology – intelligent self-distribution – maximizes water savings. The diameter of the 360mm door makes it easy for users to loosen laundry.
AQUA AQD-DD1200C uses a direct drive motor to keep the machine running smoothly, enhancing power saving ability. The intelligent function automatically allocates the optimum amount of washing water and fabric softener based on the amount of laundry, making laundry more convenient.
Thus, the AQUA AQD-DD1200C has the optimal area for a lot of laundry space, the automatic automatic washing / discharging system and the direct drive motor are outstanding features. The reference price for this product is about VND 20 million.
