Apple’s new iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 operating systems help bring a lot of improvements and new features to improve the user experience.
Earlier this morning, Apple officially released the first public beta on iOS 15 and iPadOS 15, allowing non-developers to download and test new updates for the first time since WWDC 2021.
Currently, those who have signed up for Apple’s public beta updates can download the iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 beta 1 online after installing the appropriate certificate from the Public Beta website.
Reportedly, iOS 15 has added new features to FaceTime, tools to reduce distractions, update notifications, and privacy improvements. FaceTime supports SharePlay to watch TV, listen to music, or share the screen with friends, while the Share with You feature will keep track of the songs, website links, photos, and more that friends send you.
Apple is also bringing a new Focus mode to help you get things done by getting rid of the notifications you don’t want while you’re working.
Safari also has a redesigned interface with a compact tab bar located at the bottom of the screen, along with Tab Groups that allow users to save open tabs for later use. Apple Maps has a new miniature global view and a 3D view of select cities. There are also more road details and AR-based walking directions.
The Wallet app will support IDs and various key types in iOS 15, and Photos is getting an update to Memories and the new Live Text feature. More details about the series of new features of iOS 15, readers can see in the articles below.
