Apple recently confirmed that a small amount of iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus may experience power failure and cannot be turned on, thereby making them no different from a "brick" in the true sense. Apple said the bug only affects iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus devices manufactured between October 2018 and August 2019.
Despite being killed in the U.S. in 2018, Apple has maintained production of iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus for sale in a number of developing markets, including Vietnam.
Apple has launched a free repair program for users of the affected devices. To know if your machine is in an error and free repair, users can access this link and enter the serial number of the machine. Apple's free repair program will last for 2 years from the time of purchase.
In Vietnam, genuine iPhones (VN / A code) will definitely be involved in this free repair program if they encounter an error. As for the unknown iPhone handsets, this opportunity is not high because Apple has recently continuously tightened the warranty policy and made not only for iPhones but also for iPad, Mac, Apple Watch notebooks. No warranty is received in Vietnam without a valid purchase invoice.
