Recently, mod @Duy Luan has a post to share with you Experience of buying multiple ports to use for computers, very good phones. I followed the step-by-step instructions of the article and found the charger suitable for my needs, the Anker PowerPort Speed PD 5.
By the time I wrote the article, maybe the PowerPort Speed PD 5 was the most convenient multi-device charger of the Anker (the upcoming PowerPort Atom PD 4 will likely overtake this child).
PowerPort Speed PD 5 has a simple rectangular box design. Corresponding physical size Long x Width x Height ~ 10 x 7.8 x 2.8 mm. It is completely finished plastic so it is very light, only 250 grams. I just need to carry this 250 grams to solve the problem of charging for all my devices.
The advantages that make me think PowerPort Speed PD 5 is the most convenient multi-device charger today:
- 1 USB-C port with Power Delivery, maximum charging capacity of 30W. This charging port I used to quickly charge iPad, iPhone and most importantly charge for my Macbook Pro.
- 4 USB-A ports all have PowerIQ for charging all other devices like Apple Watch, camera, gopro, portable speaker, headset, flycam … very fast and safe
- There is a green led signal light to help locate the charger at night
- PowerPort Speed PD 5 is classified into the Desktop Charger line so it has a 1 meter long power cord that makes it easy to plug in the places where there is no outlet or socket in a difficult position.
In addition to these advantages, the Anker PowerPort Speed PD 5 has a lot of electrical safety features that help protect both the charger and the device being charged:
Another small point is that Anker has a new way of packing their chargers, which is very nice and neat
The price for this charger is $ 50 in the US, quite high but I find it totally worth it. What multi-device charger are you using and what's good? Please share it with each other!
