Aftermath prepares to take stock

Mortal Kombat 11 is about to welcome a new layer of content with the Aftermath extension pass and Warner Bros. like NetherRealm Studios are hot as hot coals. Frankly impossible to doubt it, have you seen the number of trailers they have laid in recent times? It fell almost as much as bad news fell in the news! And an intro video on Fujin (with whom we have not been able to kick asses since Armageddon), and a video to present the Friendship, then another on RoboCop which crossroads with another robot, the T-800 … In short, it is linked.

And what better way to end a week full of announcements than to go around it one last time with a choral video (a tip that we practice ourselves with the written news every Sunday by the way)? This is precisely what Warner Bros. offers us today with a video of no less than 2 minutes 30 presenting all the news to come on May 26 with Aftermath.

And there will be heavy! Effectively, Aftermath will introduce a large number of historical elements as unpublished. We will be entitled to the return of famous characters such as Sheeva or Fujin alongside strangers like RoboCop, to new arenas and to many ways to put the finishing blow to your opponent with the return of Stage Fatality and Friendship. More so, it’s a whole new chapter of the story mode which will make its debut and which will take part after the victory of the Earth kingdom against the forces of Kronika, a chapter which will have as a theme confidence and betrayal, a subject in the hair since ‘he will see Shang Tsung and Liu Kang team up.

However, everything has a price and it is a bit of our duty to let you know. Indeed, if you already have the game and the season pass, you will not escape the checkout and this extension costs the good sum of € 40, an amount which is therefore added to those already spent on the versus fighter from NetherRealm. So if you are not ready to extend this amount, be aware that your Mortal Kombat 11 will also be updated and that the mentioned knockouts and stages can be used without you even having to open your wallet. For others, a Kollektion pack offers you the opportunity to acquire the game, its season pass and the Aftermath extension pack for the all-round sum of € 60.

Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath joins our astral plane on May 26 on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and Google Stadia.
