36Kr was informed that “XTransfer”, a one-stop cross-border financial and risk control service company for foreign trade enterprises, officially released a new business segment-CRM customer relationship management application to help small, medium and micro foreign trade enterprises realize digital management of the entire business chain. The basic version of XTransfer CRM is expected to be officially launched in July. The core functions of the first version will cover “mailbox binding, customer management, business opportunity management, product management, order management, sub-account management, business card scanning”, etc.

Cross-border e-commerce is a hot spot in the industry from last year to this year. However, this wave of going out to sea is very different from the previous years. The channels are characterized by diversification and fragmentation. In the fierce market competition and the unpredictable international situation, how to get started is no longer a problem. The challenge is to refine operations.

Established in 2017, XTransfer has built a global multi-currency unified settlement platform and anti-money laundering risk control infrastructure at the level of a multinational group to solve the pain points of foreign trade collection for small, medium and micro enterprises. Up to now, XTransfer has provided cross-border payment and risk control services to more than 100,000 domestic small, medium and micro foreign trade companies.

This entry into the CRM field is also because XTransfer sees the core demands of its customers.

Even many small, medium and micro enterprises are still using Excel or paper and pen to manage their own foreign trade business. When the information is not updated, it causes confusion in customer follow-up and waste of resources. With the current trend of small orders and fragmentation of foreign trade, business categories are rapidly increasing, and the demand for CRM is becoming more and more rigid.

However, there are only a handful of CRM products on the market that are really suitable for small, medium and micro foreign trade companies. Most CRM management software has complex functions, multiple levels, and high costs, which do not match the actual needs of small, medium and micro enterprises.

The foreign trade field is very different from domestic trade in terms of process and transaction methods. For example, one of the services of CRM is that users can generate PI with one click through the standard order template in the system, which can ensure the complete standard and clear version of the information, and support downloading in different formats and mail forwarding. XTransfer also adjusted its charging method based on the price-sensitive characteristics of small, medium and micro enterprises to lower the threshold for use. After the product goes online in the future, the basic version of CRM will be free for a limited time, while the membership version will only charge an annual fee of less than 1,000 yuan, which is less than 5% of similar products on the market.

Talking about the follow-up product strategy, Liu Yanfang said that the functions of the CRM follow-up plan to go online include business statistical analysis, built-in approval flow, EDM functions, etc. After it goes live in July, CRM will be an independent product and will be launched to new and old customers at the same time, covering the entire industry and the entire track.
