In a restaurant in New Hampshire, USA, a customer ordered a meal for US$37.93 (about NT$1,063), but in the end he gave the restaurant a tip of up to US$160,000 (about NT$448,000). The staff couldn’t believe it and asked, “Are you serious?”

“WMUR-TV” reported that this customer ordered a few spicy hot dogs, crispy fried pickles and drinks at the “Stumble Inn Bar and Grill” restaurant in New Hampshire for a total of US$37.93, and then paid for it separately. $160,000 tip.

Restaurant owner Mike Zarella said that at first the checkout staff did not notice such a high tip.
