Mercedes-Maybach unveiled the new S680 4MATIC on the 12th (local time). The Maybach S680 4MATIC is the top lineup of the Maybach new S-Class, and is equipped with a 6.0-liter V12 engine and produces a maximum output of 630 horsepower. In particular, Maybach’s first V12 engine and four-wheel drive system were combined.

The Maybach new S680 4MATIC is equipped with a 6.0-liter twin turbocharged V12 engine and a 9-speed automatic transmission, delivering a maximum output of 630 horsepower and a maximum torque of 102 kgm. The V12 engine is only on Maybach. The AMG S65, which shared the V12 engine, has been discontinued and will be replaced by the V8 hybrid powertrain.

The new Maybach S680 incorporates a V12 engine and a 4MATIC all-wheel drive system for the first time in Maybach’s history. Existing V12 engine models operated only with rear-wheel drive. Driving performance and stability are improved through the 4MATIC system. The appearance of the new Maybach S680 is the same as that of the general Maybach S class.

Along with Maybach’s own design, two-tone exterior colors and digital lights are mounted by hand. However, the V12 emblem was inserted into the front fender, and the S680 exclusive wheel and dual mufflers divided up and down were provided to differentiate it from the general model. High-end and high-tech specifications were applied to the interior.

5 displays including 12.8-inch OLED display, 2 row armrest refrigerator adjustable from 1 to +7°C, 18 airbags, active road noise reduction technology, 2 row electric executive seats, 2 row neck and shoulder heated functions, It is equipped with a calf rest in the rear seat that includes a massage function.
