Part of the front part of Ssangyong Motor’s G4 Rexton was revealed. The front part of the G4 Rexton section, which was posted on the Ssangyong SUV Club, has an enlarged grille and a grand impression. In particular, the headlamp is changed from the existing HID to LED. Electronic gear knobs and electronic instrument clusters are also applied. The launch is in the second half.
In the front part of the G4 Rexton part, the size of the radiator grille is expanded to the lower part of the bumper, and the internal pattern is changed. The grille frame is finished in dark chrome to enhance the sense of quality. The headlamp is changed from the existing HID to LED. It is newly designed with LED daytime running lights.
As it is a partially modified model, the side design is similar to the current Rexton. Partial design changes are expected, including new large-diameter wheels. Along with the headlamp design change, typical changes such as LED rear lamp detail changes were scheduled, and the front and rear bumper detail changes to enhance the sense of luxury.
In the interior, an electronic gear knob (SBW) is applied in place of the existing gear lever. The electronic gear knob is applied, and the center tunnel design such as electronic parking brake, auto hold, and drive mode is changed. The steering wheel will be changed to electric, and an electric steering system will be installed.
In addition to blind spot detection, lane change warning, and rear-facing warning, the latest ADAS systems such as lane maintenance assistance, adaptive cruise control, and remote parking assistance will be applied to the G4 Rexton partial change. The powertrain is expected to add a 2.2 liter diesel and an export model of 225 hp gasoline turbo.
