In a few days, Realme will present its new high-end 5G smartphone, the Realme GT. It has been several months since Realme announced the arrival of this device, in which it seems to place all its know-how.

After months of waiting, fans will soon have the opportunity to experience the Realme GT, formerly known as Race. It will be one of the first smartphones with a Snapdragon 888.

Last December, we reported on the Realme Race will be one of the first smartphones powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888. Since Realme has unveiled that the official name of the Race will be GT, the first in a new series of smartphones. Today, Realme has announced that it will unveil the GT 5G on March 4 in China at 7 a.m. KST.

According to Digital Chat Station, the smartphone should like the new Mi 11 be available with a glass or leather back. From what we know about the smartphone, it would be the most powerful high-end phone to date, and would compete with the best gaming smartphones.

Realme GT: what characteristics for the high-end smartphone?

According to the latest information available, the Realme GT will have a 6.8-inch OLED screen with 160 Hz refresh. This is much more than the 120 Hz of high-end smartphones of 2021 like the Mi 11 or the Samsung Galaxy S21, and even above the 144 Hz of gaming smartphones. The ASUS ROG Phone 3 had a 160 Hz mode for its screen, but it was a hidden mode.

To power this very energy-consuming screen, the Realme GT will be able to count on an imposing 5000 mAh battery, compatible with the 125W wired fast charging that Realme presented last summer. This technology can charge one-third of a 4000mAh battery in just 3 minutes. Thus, it should allow the phone to be recharged from 0 to 100% in less than 20 minutes.

On the back of the smartphone, we will find a photo module with three cameras, including a primary lens of 64 MP. It is not known exactly when the smartphone will be available in France, but it should be available soon with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage.
