[Real-time news/comprehensive report]A 12-story apartment building in Surfside, Miami-Dade County, Florida, USA collapsed suddenly on June 24. The search for survivors was unsuccessful, and it has entered the state of excavation and is currently dead. The number has increased to 86, and 43 people are still missing.

According to comprehensive foreign media reports, Miami-Dade County Sheriff Daniella Levine Cava announced at the latest press conference that the remains of seven victims have been found again, and the death toll has reached 86. She said solemnly: “This is a decree. The shocking and heartbreaking figures have a very, very far-reaching impact on us; the severity of this tragedy is increasing every day.” At present, 43 people are still missing and it is believed that there is no possibility of surviving.

The 86 dead include the family of Sophia, the sister of Paraguayan first lady Silvana López Moreira. Paraguayan President Mario Abdo has left for Miami after learning the news.
